We have had another beautiful spiritual experience with Holy Week and then the Easter Triduum.
Well before Easter, Judith was making changes and printing the details of each of the (6) ceremonies. Then she and Marli were busy co-ordinating what was on the screen, with its beautiful graphics and with the ceremony itself. The setting up of what goes on the screen is as time absorbing as the preparation for the ceremonies themselves – massive!
We had a few helpers at the preparations for the ceremonies but we need to thank Trish Warnett in particular. She was organising everything before each ceremony and organised all the music (without much help from the organ itself!)
Then I would like to thank my little helper – Carsley Kelly. She was there at all the ceremonies – she even came back on Easter Sunday after the long Vigil the night before. Every liturgy was different, yet she was quick to pick up what needed to be done, watched my sign language, and even remembered things from last year. An amazing little Altar Server!
So to all who offered to take on ministries at each liturgy – thank you! It wouldn’t happen without you.
