Children in our school who are members of the Mini Vinnies are a very enthusiastic group who are always looking for a challenge.
They come up with some very innovative ideas of how to raise money for some charitable works.
After a visit from Ambulance Victoria, they have decided to raise some money for a A.E.D – Automatic External Defibrillator. They have chosen to have three raffles and the prizes for each – soccer ball, netball and a football.
The tickets are $1 each and are available at the school or the Parish Office. The three prizes will be drawn on the last day of this term – 29th June at school assembly.
I hope people will have the opportunity to, not only, support the raffle and its reason but to support the students in their enthusiasm.
If it happens the A.E.D will be easily available for all of the community.
I hope their efforts encourage many donations from everyone in the near proximity to the school and parish.
