Child Protection Week

28 July 2017

This week we are putting it out there?

In this month’s edition of the Tatura Community Bulletin we are explaining what we intend to do for National Child Protection Week.

This will take place in the first week of September but we are extending it for all of September.

A program called ‘Loud Fence’, which began in Ballarat, has been adopted by many parishes and groups.  We are asking people to place a ribbon on the fence of the parish to show support for survivors and standing in solidarity with victims.

It is not a protect or blame game.  It is to say that we who place a ribbon care for those who are hurting.
