Yes we certainly have something to celebrate.
Recently I announced that Mrs Pauline Hindson will be our new Principal. She is currently fulfilling a temporary appointment of twelve months at Sacred Heart.
I asked her if she would be kind enough to do this for us, she accepted with the approval and very kind gesture of her principal Anthony Betts at St Mary’s Mooroopna.
I had great support from the panel at the interviews although the decision was not going to be easy.
I had been reflecting on the progress of the school over many years and I was well aware of where it was at and also where is was heading and Pauline is the one to do this for us.
We also congratulate her on being chosen as the Primary representative on the Review Committee to look at Religious Education Programs in Schools in our diocese. The committee of six have until October next year to submit their findings to the Bishop.
