What could be more topical for news and events than to talk about our fathers and how we can celebrate and recognise their important role in our society and in our families.
In our parish we will have some special ways with handouts and blessings during our weekend Masses.
But as a school, the children have been making some special surprises to give to their Dads. We anticipated the day with a ‘Blokes’ Breakfast’ on Friday.
We started at 7.30am with egg and bacon in muffin rolls with sausages as an option.
We did this in front of the church with a great turnout.
Mrs Hindson, Mr Cameron and all the teachers were on hand to do the cooking.
This was followed by Mass at 9.15am again with the theme of celebrating Father’s Day.
Thanks to everyone who helped and attended it was a wonderful morning.
